Whatever the format, hierarchy matters. Give the logo and name enough room, keep contact information readable and avoid pushing important elements close to the trim. A restrained layout usually survives real-world handling better than a card filled edge to edge with small text.

Matte cover is a flexible choice for clean typography, softer colours and a surface with minimal glare. Semi-gloss cover brings extra contrast to photography and saturated graphics. A thicker or uncoated stock feels more tactile and can support brands that want a crafted, understated presentation.

Coating changes the surface as well as the appearance. Lamination adds protection and can make a card feel more substantial, while an uncoated surface is easier to write on. Tell us how the cards will be used and stored; that context often makes the best finish easier to identify.

Commercial print uses CMYK inks, while phones and monitors display RGB light. A file can therefore shift when it moves from screen to paper, especially with very bright blues, greens and oranges. Supplying CMYK artwork and clearly identifying colour-critical elements gives the production team a better foundation for consistent output.
